This is like painting and a song - a dirge if you will. The repetition of vermillion at the end is bold and is like the final paint stroke of the poem.

The poetic language is obvious in all of this. Lines three and four are a good example of poetic imagination. The poem has a good flow that goes quite well with the romantic diction. One does not see anything being said in a forceful way. Perhaps the verses came naturally enough.

This is in one word "good."
