Working in the fields in my youth we often talked about the sun rising over our heads. When we were in a field that ran east to west you could almost learn to tell time by where the sun was located during the day.

Working in the fields in my youth we often talked about the sun rising over our heads. When we were in a field that ran east to west you could almost learn to tell time by where the sun was located during the day.
There also exists a very particular knife designed by Kephart, specifically for the outdoorsman.
It can be a tremendous pleasure simply to escape the city for a while. These lines in particular struck a real chord with me:
"to escape from this artificial limbo
that has sullied the very sky til
we scarce ever lift our eyes to it'
maybe because I see so many people in their busy daily lives who just don't seem to find the time or the inclination to look up. Fine poem!
