"I stooped to question a flower" - ah, lovely. This poem reminds me of Basho, the great haiku writer. The older I get, the more I appreciate simple poems that aren't trying to be clever. If you'll indulge me, recently a long, deep relationship of mine ended. I memorialized it with a small poem:
Powerful and beyond moving.
This makes me glad, to live in a world with love and poetry such as this in it. 💙
