Thank you for sharing this. I woke up this morning, an angry poet. So tired of all the crap. I will go back to the work I know how to do to get through a terrifying time. Writing and reading what other voices say. Living through a dying time.

A wonderful poem … thank you … I’m not sure of the longest suicide note in history but they say that the longest suicide in history was that of Jazz legend Bill Evans ….

a poet should be able to speak the troth

He should be able to tell good from dross

He should be eloquent as a dandy

And still, be able to cuss like a swabbie

He should be able to give out sonnets

And describe a woman's floral bonnet.

He should have a way with words and Rimes

and encourage through the good and bad times.
