Recurring flaming death and rebirth began for me in my 43rd year, 1987. There is no way it can be understood except by experiencing it. Most religions acknowledge the flames process, but it has nothing to do with religions. It is not of this world, yet can be experienced by living it on this world. Some might call it spiritual alchemy. Being burned to a crisp over and over, and emerging each time a different person.

Love this: no longer caught in the obsession with darkness, a desire for higher lovemaking sweeps you upwards. I've felt that flight. A life saver.

"Α desire for higher lovemaking" is a noble cause that can "sweep you upwards". It's better to burn out like that than to fade away "..caught in the obsession with darkness", feeling like "..only a troubled guest on the dark earth."

If someone had tried to interrupt Goethe while he was writing this, I would’ve pulled them aside and said sternly, “Let him cook.”
