Erik, it is comforting to know that there exists community in those who teeter totter between conditioning and creativity, who live inside society as outsiders battered around in the cross-winds of their souls, a part and apart

Wow! You describe the artistic temperament and drive with the passion and poetry of Henry Miller who i know is a hero of yours, powerful stuff! Thanks for being a refreshing antidote to the avalanche of "low grade entertainment" they're trying to chloroform our minds with, you're very talented.

Such a wonderful and accurate description of why so many of us feel so out of sync with "society". It's heartening to know that we're not alone even if many of us keep our creative selves hidden just below the surface until we know that we're in good company. 😉

Your sensitive poem depicts so vividly the rupture between the inner world of one who lives at the outskirts of civilisation and the menacing crunch of a world that never stops trying to chisel away at us hoping to transform us into mere marionettes.

I appreciate that you haven’t lost faith and you keep trying to open doors into our hearts with your art. Don’t be surprised to discover that many will resonate with your words so masterfully crafted. Thank you for the poem! 🙏

Such Truth, Erik. I bow before your testimony.

The piece in its entirety titilates my soul, but I keep coming back to:

“It’s this archaic force that burns from

the most profound depths

of his being, an insatiable rapture

that coalesces the dark of the unconscious

with the universal light, arousing

the sheer realization of his

utter nothingness — the

true awakening.”

Bowing in gratitude.

Remember you are more than skin and bones.

You are one thousand stories of before.

One thousand stories of potential.

There's more to come.
