My goodness, this is a beautiful expression of care and love. I was Ruben in many ways and by 19 I had compromised, acquiescing to the machinery of consumerism and status quo. I've been reading The Red Hand Files for almost a year now, and in every answer Cave says at least one thing that strikes me like a lightning bolt of enlightenment. This answer is full of those moments. What a great service he's doing to humanity.
