Thank you. A perfect poem with which to mourn the killing of Navalny.
This poem really got me.
God how fucked up humans can be in their righteous bigotry.
The killing of beauty and art and innocence. As always.
A stunning poem with the water offering some relief and healing.
I loved Lorca’s poems. Used to memorize them when young. Are there any great poet’s today that can evoke the same?
This is like the sun praising the moon. Stunning and beautiful.
Lorca is still my favorite poet.
"Ay Federico García
Llama a la Guardia Civil. Ya me tale se ha quebrado como caña de maíz."
RIP Alexie Navalny 😢
Thank you. reminds me of Alan Turing, being himself fighting for his country
A sad but wonderful poem about the tragic murder of a great poet.
When the poem's so good it has you reminisce and miss people you don't even know. So many great lines here.
I've explored Machado...I've read to little of Lorca. Reading is such a pursuit.
too
What a powerful piece. Thank you. D
Very painful image!
One of the best poets ever!
¡Bravo!
Federico García Lorca, ¡Presente!
Thanks Jim for this moving poem on the Spanish poet, Lorca.
Wonderful! Thank you.
He was my favourite when younger too.
