Manly Palmer Hall (18 March 1901 – 29 August 1990) was an American writer, lecturer, astrologer and mystic. Over his 70-year career he gave thousands of lectures and published over 150 volumes, of which the best known is The Secret Teachings of All Ages (1928). In 1934 he founded the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles.
My internal thoughts when I go grocery shopping, to work, and in those quiet moments of life, as I wonder what is this all for. Beautiful poem to deep of the collective consciousness 🫂
Drinking coffee 1st thing in the morning with arthritis and an aging body. This beautifully written poem, in context of the quote, is such a balm to come awake to. Caffeine and arriving consciousness make your poem open up to me. The rebirth of wisdom, so fragmented, is coming together. Thank you
Nice to see the concept of Spiritual Integrity since it is integrity that is most needed in our world, citizenry, and government today. As a coincidence, as there are always so many, yesterday's poem a day from the Academy of American Poets was titled "hangman". I never did get the answer from the clues but I find your insight of hanging on by a thread to be interestingly meaningful in seeing the illusion of the material.
Beautiful quiet truth…thank you. The painting is also a holy wisdom.
Deep,, mystical wisdom.

Liberation is the end of the idea that there is anything or anyone to be liberated.
These are beautiful thoughts
Wonderfully written and I could gaze at this painting all day. Thank you so much.

Perfectly said - well done Manly ...
Why?
Why the visions, the dreams
that escape like vapors?
Why images that deform
the hollow expectations,
the yearnings without form?
Misunderstood are the ways
that take me to places
I should have been
according to where I wanted to go?
What spirit, what gentle hand,
guides me
contrary to my druthers
to places contrary to
where my soul cannot comprehend?
It’s the mystery that troubles me. rKf 26 April 2025
